Replant and deflower! In our everbearing strawberries we are replacing any plants that didnt take and we are also removing all of the flowers. Why? - the plant is small and if it flowers now, it will remain small, by removing early flowers, it will grow more leaves and a stronger root system. When we are ready we will allow those flowers to turn into fruit, and we will have a stronger more vigorous plant for the season!! Remember: Ever bearing strawberries have continuous bloom all season! June bearing strawberries only have one round of fruit so we do not remove flowers on June bearing we want to harvest! | Willowtree Farm
