Each year in January the Oklahoma Conference Adventist Schools have students from Korea that come to be a part of our Korean Sooner Camp which runs from January to late February. This is an opportunity for the Korean students to improve their English and learn more about American culture by living in it for almost 2 months. It is also an opportunity for our members to minister to these children. They live with host families for this time and participate as members of their families by going to school, church, and any other things the host family participates in. Most of the children coming from Korea are not Christian so this is a very important ministry to introduce them to Jesus by living day-to-day as a member of an Adventist family.I need your help in this ministry. We have to recruit host families to be willing to take in at least 2 students for 7 weeks from January to February. Because their families' main focus is learning English, we are limited to families who speak English as their primary language in the home. If you're interested in becoming a host family, contact your local Adventist school for more information.
