INFO:
I am not one to air out all my business, I was never one to post about my personal life whether it was good and especially if it was bad My husband and I had our first baby 5 weeks ago. We were so excited we could not wait, so many amazing moments to look forward to… Until our baby cried a lot and we looked at each other with wide eyes and had no clue how to soothe her when all the stuff we tried did not work and I had to throw her on the breast, and even THAT was pissing her off some nights I took to building a community of moms on social media and posting some stories on instagram and even responding to others stories and videos that felt similar to mine and started conversations I started realizing how many others have gone through the SAME thing, and started feeling better once I heard what they had to say and how they got through it I reached out to my friends who were moms who struggled in ways I did not know before I had my baby - you truly dont know anything until you become a mom yourself and they picked me up in ways I could never repay them I had friends send stuff to the house to help me, drop off medicine, supplements, food, baby items I didnt know I needed until I went through it I had my mom fly in and see me in ways I never thought she would see me and help me in ways I did not want anyone to help me but actually desperately needed. It takes a village because the village brings in different wisdom, different experience, different kinds of help that you possibly could not know and have all on your own without learning over the years Build your village, do not be scared to open your heart out to people and be vulnerable. 🤍🧑‍🧑‍🧒
